Bacon Wrapped Pears

Bacon Wrapped Pears are the easiest way to impress your guests with only 3 ingredients. They are always amazed at how little time these take and how delicious they are. Plus an added bonus is the Bacon Wrapped Pears are considered part of the Paleo Diet.


4 Ripe Fresh Pears (Buy them a few days ahead and let them ripen on a counter top or paper bag)

1lb. Bacon Of Your choice (Found in the Deli Dept.)




Preheat oven to 4oo degrees. Slice pears in half and take out the core and stem. Slice each half into 6 slices.  Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each slice of pear with the bacon creating a “scarf” for the pear. Secure it with a toothpick and sprinkle with cinnamon. The best way to get a crisp on these is to use parchment paper on your sheet pan.

Bake for 30 minutes or until it’s crispy to your likening.
